Instructor(s)

Donna Nielsen

Donna is a lifelong learner and yearner after the Beloved. Donna is married and has five children, and sixteen grandchildren. She graduated from BYU with her degree in Human Development, and later got her Master's Degree in Women's Studies. Donna also has a DDS and a Ph.D in Early Christian Studies and Iconography. She is also an Interfaith Chaplain. She has 18 years of experience as a Practitioner and Researcher, through Western Sand Play Associates,and is an Associate of Sand Tray Therapists of America. She was co-founder of the Junior Shakespeare Company, and was Education Specialist for the BYU Department of Theater and Media Arts Shakespeare Fellowship Program. Donna has been a keynote speaker at the Shakespeare Convention, and has spoken for BYU Women’s Conference, presented at Education Week for 6 years, and has taught at a variety of conventions in California, South Carolina, Idaho, and Arizona. She was a guest on both KSL and K-TALK radio shows. She worked with MorningStar Institute on a series called Spiritually Gifted Children. She is also a certified mentor. Donna’s book, Beloved Bridegroom, is in it's seventeenth printing, and she has also published two CD’s. Donna is an avid reader and has studied a variety of cultures and languages, including Latin, Hebrew, Egyptian, Greek, and Aramaic. Her passion for these things led her to become a tour guide to Israel and Jordan. Currently, Donna stays busy teaching courses on the Divine Feminine, and how it has been expressed through the scriptures and in history.
